Solar Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems Training Course
What are the benefits?
The BPEC Solar Domestic Hot Water Heating Systems training course will allow you to extend your scope of work in the installation of the most common solar water heating systems found in the UK.
It is approved under the DTI’s Low Carbon Building Programme grant scheme. Your clients will then be able to apply for a grant towards their installation with you as a qualified installer. Successful candidates will be sent a certificate with an identity card from BPEC to prove their competence.

What qualifications do I need to gain solar certification?
Acceptable qualifications to enrol are either:

S/NVQ 2 or Advanced Craft in Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation or gas service.

Non skilled candidates who have good knowledge such as architects, specifiers, etc, can attend, but will not be eligible for certificates or cards of competence.
Solar Course Duration and Location
This 2-day Solar course is available at The Plumbing Academy, Edenbridge. If the BPEC G3 unvented hot water qualification course is also required, the course will be 3-days (extra 1-day may not be consecutive).
Solar Course Certification
Successful candidates are awarded the BPEC Solar Domestic Hot Water Heating Certificate.
Solar Course Literature
Course cost includes a BPEC Solar Domestic Hot Water Heating System training pack and a pre-course training manual which should be studied prior to attending the course.
