 This course is aimed at operatives involved in the installation of hot and cold water systems wishing to update their knowledge of changes to legislation.

The course will enable candidates to comply with the current regulations in practice and gain an understanding of the documents used and in particular the prevention of backblow and the WRAS Water Regulations Guide.

Candidates will be sent a home study pack prior to attending a 1 day training and assessment course at The Plumbing Academy where the tutor will go through all the necessary requirements in order that candidates can prove competence.
Assessment takes place throughout the day by means of a written test. (Recommended home study time: 16 hours.)

Successful candidates will receive an ID card from BPEC.
