Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems

 Course Overview

Aimed primarily at practicing plumbing and heating engineers who have a knowledge of the fundamental requirements of hot and cold water systems and central heating systems or students nearing the completion of a plumbing or heating NVQ.

Course Aim

The aims of the unvented course are to understand the requirements of Section G3 of the building regulations, to identify faults associated with installation and maintenance, understand the requirements of Part L1 and to complete a range of assessment tests to confirm competence.

Course Structure

The 1 day unvented course is designed so that operatives spend as little time as possible away from the workplace. Operatives will be given a self study work pack prior to attending The Plumbing Academy.

 (Recommended home study time: 16 hours.)

Assessment

Our tutors will reinforce the key knowledge during the day at The Plumbing Academy overview the requirements prior to the written and practical assessments being carried out.

Course Achievement

Successful candidates will receive a BPEC ID card to prove your competence in Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems and Building Regulations Part L1.
