Risk Assessment of Hot and Cold Water System (Legionella)
Overview
The course is designed to meet the requirements of the revised "Approved Code of Practice" and guidance for Legionnaires' disease. It is aimed at those responsible for the water systems in residential accommodation such as local authorities, housing associations, hostels, landlords, managing agents, educational establishments and caravan and camping site owners.
Course Aim
The aims are to enable candidates to state the legislative and guidance documents relative to the control of legionnaires disease including a background on how to control the risk of spread and how to carry out risk assessment.
Course Structure
The 1 day course is delivered with the support of a candidate log book which will be completed at The Plumbing Academy.
Assessments
Our tutors will reinforce the key knowledge requirements as well as carrying out on going assessment via the candidate log including both practical and written assignment.
Course Achievement
Successful candidates will receive an ID Card From BPEC
