Domestic ACS Assessments Core and Appliance Gas Safety
The Domestic Gas Safety ACS Assessments are made up of a Core Safety Assessment (CCN1), which all ACS operatives must undertake successfully and a range of Appliance Assessments, which operatives can opt to undertake as necessary.
Core Domestic Gas Safety – CCN1 CCN1 Assessment covers Gas Safety Legislation, Gas Emergency Action and Procedures, and all necessary safety aspects for when conducting Gas work, including the installation, maintenance and testing of gas systems, and identifying unsafe situations.
The Assessment is conducted over 2 days. Refresher training is available if required.
CCN1 is a pre-requisite for the following appliance assessments.
HTR1 - Fires and Wall Heaters
CKR1 - Cookers
WAT1- Water Heating Appliances
CEN1- Central Heating Boilers below 70kW
DAH1 - Ducted Air Heaters below 70kW
CPA1 - Gas Analyser -
Refresher training is available if required for CEN1, CKR1, HTR1 and WAT1. Further assessments are available on request.
